Young Changemaker's program
Rural Immersion Program
I am thrilled to share that I had the privilege of winning the prestigious Young Changemakers Program at IIM Ranchi with my amazing team, Polaris, and our project, “The Project Husk” This incredible journey has been a transformative experience, teaching me invaluable lessons in collaboration, team building, and the power of simplicity. Working with a team of passionate and talented individuals, I realized how simple ideas, when executed with clarity and purpose, can lead to impactful results. The program provided a platform to learn, grow, and challenge myself, offering new experiences that broadened my perspective and skills.
Biography:
The Young Changemakers Programme stands out by making students live through the scenario, instead of providing hypothetical problems on a piece of paper or learning about social issues from a textbook. The participants are immersed as they witness the challenges faced by the community living in underprivileged areas first-hand.
Me and my team "Polaris" had a wonderful opportunity to present our ideas for a better future. our idea " Project Husk " won the event, which made us the program Laureates. Project Husk is a intuitive way where it aims to solve a major problem of people in rasabeda by teaching villagers to use the rice husk they've collected and make beddings out of it, which not only prevents them from burning the husk, but also make warm beds which can provide heat during the cold nights.
